Afghani (Mazar I Sharif)

First released in the 1985 seed catalog 36° North latitude. This is without a doubt one of the world's best Indica varieties. Renowned throughout the Hindu Kush and the whole of the Middle East as the best there is. Because of this hash is adulterated with inferior hash, henna and ghee. I have been to the factory in the Khyber Pass where all this takes place. The owner of this factory sadly informed me this this variety will probably become extinct in the near future due the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Height is said to be 4 to 5 feet. This yield is said to be about one kilo per plant
