Apple Fritter is a relatively new variety offered in Europe, ye a splash in the US since 2016 thanks to its organoleptic attributes, a high THC and abundant yield. It earned a well-deserved 2nd place in the High Times Cannabis Cup in California, hybrid cannabis category. From here it has done nothing but continue to forge its recognition among the most select US underground growers. Apple Fritter is certainly the strain of choice by Lumpy's Flowers. The California based breeder who set its exotic terpene and high THC levels. Apple Fritter is the encounter between Sour Apple (Top Shelf) and Animal Cookies, high potency and flavourful strains from the Diesel and Cookies families. The Sour Apple cutting used (Sour Diesel x Cinderella 99) is noted for its fruity apple sweetness, and Animal Cookies brings sugary, earthy undertones, a Girl Scout Cookies and Fire OG lineage heritage. Apple Fritter is not available in seed format, only cuttings, so Philosophers Seeds has developed a backcross (BX) with Animal Cookies, a strain also available as a limited edition in S1 form (true to the original cutting) in the Philosopher Seeds catalogue.
