About this release
Information on Apple Lobster Apple Lobster is a feminized photoperiod variety developed by Cipher Genetics in collaboration with Maine Trees. Launched in 2024, it follows the success of its mother line at the East Coast Zalympix 2023, where Blue Lobster won three awards, including Best Terpenes. This debut is certainly one to watch. Genetics: the meeting of sweetness and terpene potency Apple Lobster is the result of crossing Sour Gumball—a balanced hybrid of Bubblegum and Fireball—with Blue Lobster, Maine Trees’ own selection of Compound Genetics’ celebrated cross between Apples and Bananas and Eye Candy, also known as Facade. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid that inherits the best qualities of both lines: the fruity, gassy expression of Blue Lobster and the sweet, resinous base of Sour Gumball. Some phenotypes may also develop a distinctive paint or marker-like terpene profile that sets them apart within the line. Cultivation: fast, adaptable and rich in resin When grown indoors, Apple Lobster completes its flowering period in just 54 to 56 days, making it an attractive option for growers looking for fast cycles without compromising quality. It produces dense flowers with impressive trichome coverage. With a moderate difficulty level, it is suitable for both experienced growers and those taking their first steps with premium American genetics. Outdoors, harvest takes place in late September or early October. The variety adapts well to a range of climates and environments. Its versatility in both indoor and outdoor cultivation makes Apple Lobster a practical choice capable of delivering visible results from the first run. Aromas, flavors and effects: a candy-like experience with a complex background Apple Lobster’s aromatic profile is dominated by caramelized apple and sweet candy, complemented by background notes of diesel and light hash. Some phenotypes express a characteristic paint or solvent-like terpene profile which, rather than clashing with the main
