Business Key was developed through a linebreeding of (Tropicana Cookies F2 x Tropicana Cherry F2), aiming to fix both the citrus-dominant terpene profile and the violet pigmentation commonly present in these families. Most phenotypes display a 60% sativa / 40% indica structure, with medium internodal spacing and good lateral branching. Plants remain manageable in size and adapt well to training techniques such as LST and SCROG. Flowering time is stable around 56 days (8 weeks) in controlled indoor conditions. Outdoor harvest falls in early to mid-autumn in temperate climates. Production is medium, with consistent resin coverage across phenotypes. Phenotypic expression: Violet pigmentation is dominant and shows in the majority of plants, also in high temperatures. Terpene profile remains within the expected Tropicana spectrum: orange and grapefruit forward, with cherry notes and occasional sangria-like sweetness. Resin heads are mostly medium-sized and suitable for both dry sift and hydrocarbon extraction. Cultivation notes: Balanced nutrient uptake, not highly demanding. Performs best with moderate feeding and stable root-zone conditions. Mold resistance is average; proper airflow is recommended in dense canopies. Works well for selection projects if the goal is to stabilize citrus-forward purple lines.
