Lemonnade was founded in 2015 by rapper Berner and Brett Wilson, a longtime cannabis cultivator whose first experiences in the grow room date back to when he was 12 years old and being called in to help his Dad tend to his weed plants. Originally from Santa Cruz, Wilson always had a passion for the old-time genetics he saw his Dad growing when he was only a kid. Just before meeting Berner in 2015, Wilson had begun a meticulous hunt for strains with that iconic lemony freshness characteristic of Santa Cruz strains like Lemon Diesel.
