Cherry Fizz was created by Cero, breeder at Kimera Genetics, through the cross of a selected clone of Acid Cherry — a hybrid resulting from Cherry OG (Silver River Seeds) × Acid Cream (Hang On Seeds) — with the stable male Apple Gummys (Sour Apple Killer F2 × [Rainbow Belts 2.0 × Pure Michigan]), developed in-house by the same seedbank. The mother plant was selected for its structural vigor, trainability, resin production, and a highly distinctive terpene profile characterized by sour, gassy, and artificial candy notes. Its structure is the result of a balanced combination between strong lateral growth and central stability, with firm secondary branches and medium internodal spacing. It responds well to training techniques such as SCROG, topping, and LST, and adapts easily to both indoor and outdoor environments. Buds are round, dense, and spaced out, with abundant trichome production visible early in flowering. The dominant color is bright lime green, complemented by intense white pistils. The aroma and flavor profile stands out for its combination of fermented sour cherry, gas, chemical candy sweetness, and an effervescent citrus background reminiscent of red soda or artificial fruit candy.
