Citrus Mistress

Yet another Tempest Grove Genetics original, the Citrus Mistress is one of Evan’s favorites. Crossing our select Original Mandarin Cookies by Ethos Genetics, and our male GMO x Orange Zkittlez yielded some jaw dropping results! Citrus mistress is a vigorous grower who grows many armed, branchy bushes that have a decent stretch in flower. Internode spacing is right in the middle of the road, with nice colas at the top of the plant and evenly spaced ‘cookie’ buds below that. She grows tall and heavy, so because of that we recommend some light topping earlier in veg, and sturdy plant support in flower. Her flowers are incredibly eye popping with an extremely thick coating of Sandy resin glands that are so tightly packed you can hardly even see the violet colors below! Her foliage almost always finishes a dark purple color, especially with cool water and cool temperatures at the end of her life. She does great both indoors and out with solid pest and disease resistance, frost resistance and handles hot/cold temperatures well. Outdoors she finishes with abundant harvests in early-mid October. Two different genotypical variations led to two very different odor profiles; one of acrid, sour citrus rinds, and another of halitosis and chemical funk. The smoke is very enjoyable with nasty complex flavors of plastic, chemicals and citrus all mixed in one, or that garlic chem so reminiscent of GMO. Her effects are devastating, in a way similar to an OG. She is very heavy on the cerebral effects, yet incredibly sedative on the back end, especially when pushed a full 70 days to perfection! Great for medication as well as recreation!
