It is composed of a pristine, unhybridized 1970’s Durban Poison landrace female from the African equatorial belt crossed with a vintage 1988 NL5xHaze male, one of the most celebrated Dutch hybrids of all time. To understand this cultivar, one must appreciate the stark contrast between its parents.
