About this release
Deep Chunk, also known as Monkey Valls or Hindu Death Cabbage, is an original vintage Afghan strain from 1979. It was initially preserved by a veteran grower from Humboldt called The Chemist, who shared it with the well-known grower and breeder Tom Hill. The strain was introduced to Spain around 2006 by Raco, who was collaborating with Tom Hill at the time. Raco was responsible for popularizing this unique Hashplant in the local scene, along with other strains like Monkey Haze. We have recently recovered this peculiar variety, giving us the opportunity to preserve it for the future. This ancestral Hashplant has a distinctive earthy aroma reminiscent of the best old-school Afghan hash and a compact structure, with resin-coated, twisting leaves that give the plants their characteristic cabbage-like appearance. It is very homogeneous. A true delicacy for lovers of good Hash. (Special thanks to Glennorch for writing the text)
