History of Gas Cake Gas Cake was created by Jungle Boys, a well-known Cali collective of cannabis growers and breeders. While Jungle Boys is up there with Cookies in terms of their popularity, the brand has fairly humble beginnings. Its founder, Ivan Vanorwick, has been growing, smoking, and selling weed since his high school days. In fact, his mum used to grow cannabis in their backyard, and Ivan got some exposure to growing weed by helping his mom tend the garden as a kid.
