Compound Genetics is among the biggest names in American cannabis, and Lynch is renowned for his role as head breeder and founder of the brand. While he moved on from Compound Genetics in 2022, Lynch is associated with many of the brand's biggest strains, including: • Apples & Bananas • Blue Lobster • Pave • Khalifa Mints • Horchata Lynch started developing a love for cannabis in high school and moved to Amsterdam in 2004 to immerse himself in the Dutch cannabis scene. During his time in the Netherlands, Lynch also met renowned breeders like Soma and plunged deeper into the unique world of Dutch coffeeshops and weed. In 2007, Lynch moved to Portland, OR and began working as a medical cannabis grower, finally getting a chance to put his knowledge to practical use. Around 2013, Lynch was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease—a diagnosis that only further ignited his passion for cannabis and breeding. In the following years, Lynch would found Compound Genetics and collaborate with some of the cannabis world's biggest personalities, including Berner and Wiz Khalifa, among others. There's a variety of Gastro Pop phenotypes out there, each with unique traits.
