About this release
Melonade 5.0 is a variety of regular cannabis seeds from the American bank Lit Farms. Melonade is a hybrid Sativa-dominant cannabis strain that was first cultivated in the United States. First bred by Midwest Best, this strain was popularized by AlienLabs who brought the strain to the top of the 2018 Cannabis Cup. This first prize winning strain is known for its incredibly vibrant aroma and flavor profiles, as well as its light and heady cerebral high. It is a cross between Watermelon Zkittles and Lemon Tree. This strain contains an average THC concentration of around 25% and is perfect for smoking during the day or early afternoon. Unlike most Sativa-dominant flowers, Melonade's buds are short and stocky, almost sword-shaped. They're an incredibly bright shade of neon green that's sure to stand out in the garden or even on the shelf at the dispensary. These bright neon hues contrast with darker green hues giving the strain unimaginable appeal. These buds are surrounded by fine orange and red hairs. The flowers are covered in a fine layer of amber trichomes that make the buds appear dipped in gold. These buds burst with a bright, melon-scented aroma that is accented with spice and a bit of earthy citrus. The taste is quite similar, although a little more flavorful. Users have described a sweet fruity flavor combined with tart citrus, lemons, and a bit of fresh melon. Origin: Melonade#4 x Melonade (Grandiflora Genetics)
