Mendo Ape OG was created by J2G Genetics in 2014. This combination is Cali Connection Blackwater female x Rare Dankness Rare Darkness male. I had a very nice pheno of blackwater that I hit with the shortest node spacing male I found from a rare darkness pack. The smell from this strain is incredible. You know when you're walking somewhere and you smell DANK all of a sudden? It's THAT smell. That's the best way I can describe it. Just dank weed smell. It's a little hint of berry but mostly just gas and kush. The colors thrown off were good, definitely saw darker tones in the buds. Not the largest yielder unfortunately but the smell and flavor made it worth keeping for later use. Harvest time: Can be harvested usually around 55 days depending on how you like your trichomes.
