About this release
Mentha de Croco Fern Bx1 F2 by TerpyZ Mutant Genetics is an exceptional cannabis genetic in which the unusual Fern-Type morphology was the primary focus of selection. The line was specifically developed to stabilize its characteristic fern-like leaf structure while refining the aroma profile toward lemon, Chem and menthol. The lineage is stated as Mentha de Croco Fern F1 × Mentha de Croco Fern F2. Its genetic foundations include Mentholskunk V2 “Fern-Type” by Cannabis Research Company and Croco, a polyphyllous hybrid mutant by TerpyZ Mutant Genetics. Approximately 80% of the plants are expected to display the typical Fern expression, while so-called Raptor phenotypes may occur in smaller numbers. The unusual leaf structure is particularly striking, with fine leaf forms that can appear almost snowflake-like or distinctly fern-shaped. The plants grow compact and vigorously, developing dense flowers with a comparatively low leaf-to-flower ratio and abundant trichome production. The aroma profile is equally exceptional. An intense combination of lemon, Chem and menthol takes center stage. Fresh lemon peel and sweet Meyer lemon notes meet cool mint, chemical nuances and a slightly gassy undertone. In rare cases, a “Blueberry Parfum” phenotype may also occur, combining perfume-like blueberry and floral notes with the characteristic Chem profile. With its combination of unusual Fern morphology, high production and complex lemon-Chem-menthol aroma, Mentha de Croco Fern Bx1 F2 is a distinctive genetic for enthusiasts of exceptional mutants and experimental cannabis lines.
