Permanent Marker, originally from the USA, gained fame through Doja (California), but its creation is credited to JBeezy of Seed Junky Genetics. This marijuana strain is a three-way hybrid of Biscotti, Sherb BX, and Jealousy: Biscotti is a cross between Gelato #25 and Sour Florida OG, blending sweet, sugary biscuit notes with rainforest and Diesel undertones. Sherb BX is a backcross between Garlic Mushroom Cookies and Sunset Sherbet, delivering a cerebral, uplifting effect with tropical terpenes. Jealousy, a hybrid between Sherbet and Gelato #41, one of the most famous Gelato selections, features a creamy caramel flavour and remarkable potency. Permanent Marker is highly Indica dominant, with a compact, broad-leaf structure resembling a spruce. Its ultra-compact flowers yield heavily, with large calyxes and amber stigmas coated in abundant resin. THC levels can reach 30%, with some individuals testing as high as 35%. The strain’s signature aroma is characterised by spicy notes and a hint of mint, with Cookies and gassy terpenes taking centre stage. Its scent is reminiscent of classic permanent marker pens.
