The Black

The Black is a pure Vietnamese-hybrid dating back to the early 1970s, being imported into the US sometime around the Vietnam war. The reason this cultivar is call The Black is due to the black chlorophyll pigmented vegetation, which is a common trait among vietnamese landrace. When dried and cured The Black has purple almost completely black nugs, having a very hallucinogenic like high. The Black is most likely a land-race hybrid cross of Vietnamese x Laos
