One parent is Z3 from Terphogz, a cross of Zkittlez and Z2.0, with Z2.0 itself descending from OG Kush × Zkittlez. This side contributes heavy resin production, layered candy terpenes, and classic Z influence. The second parent is Candy Fumez from Bloom Seed Co., bred from Zkittlez × Sherbanger. Sherbanger combines Sunset Sherbert and Headbanger, adding creamy sherbet depth alongside sharp fuel-heavy undertones. With Zkittlez appearing on both sides of the pedigree, Z42 intensifies the signature candy-fruit profile while blending in creamy dessert notes, OG gas, and additional resin output. The result is a balanced 50/50 hybrid that captures the loud terpene expression and visual appeal expected from modern top-shelf Z genetics. Growth Characteristics Z42 develops into vigorous XL-sized plants indoors, commonly reaching heights of 160–190 cm under proper conditions. Because of its strong vertical growth, training techniques such as topping, low-stress training (LST), or SCROG are recommended to maximize canopy control and light penetration. Flowering time is relatively quick for a photoperiod cultivar, finishing in approximately 8–9 weeks indoors. Under optimal conditions, yields are reported at around 500–600 g/m², placing Z42 firmly in the high-yield category. The flowers are dense, heavily resin-coated, and specifically suited for premium solventless and hydrocarbon extractions.
