Breeder-direct facts
We research original breeder pages and cite the exact page for each supported claim. Only sources from our reviewed breeder registry can support cultivar facts. We do not use aggregator catalogs, copied listings, or community opinions to fill factual gaps.
Scope matters
A breeder’s release can differ from another release with the same name. Release-specific claims stay attributed to that breeder and are not promoted to facts about every cultivar sharing the name. Conflicts and unknown fields remain visible.
Research and freshness
Each researched claim retains its source and access date. An access date records when a page was retrieved; it is not independent verification of the breeder’s claims. Profiles are revisited as new breeder evidence becomes available.
Personal experiences
Community members may share personal thoughts and experiences. These are opinions, clearly labeled and separate from breeder facts. They do not determine lineage, classification, potency, or medical claims.
Potency and effects
A cultivar name does not establish the chemistry of a product. Use that product’s batch Certificate of Analysis (COA). Breeder descriptions of effects, aromas, and flavors are reported descriptions, not measured intensity or a prediction of your response.
Discovery dates
“First recorded by Areto” tracks the first appearance in our records, not the breeder’s release date. A refreshed profile does not become a newly discovered cultivar.
Medical research
Our educational medical pages cite scientific and official health sources separately. They do not establish therapeutic benefits for a particular strain.
Corrections and attribution
Cultivar facts come directly from the cited breeders. A breeder’s description is a reported claim, not independent genetic verification or a test of your product batch. Community members’ personal experiences are separate from these facts. Corrections: genetics@areto.tech.
