Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Af-Pak x Ben
Originally conceived in 2000; combining all of the fine qualities of the Afpak Hashplant and Ben strains. This cross produces chunky solid, highly resinous buds with rich sweet aroma like the Ben. Very easy to grow – a good choice for the first time grower. Height: 4-6 ft.
