Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Afghan Cheese
Afghani Cheese (Oregon Afghani x Exodus Cheese Bx1) Old-school genetics that absolutely slap! Coffee, leather, dark chocolate, and undertones of fuel blend perfectly with the funky, creamy sweetness of cheese. The phenotypes are easily distinguished by leaf shape and size alone. Wide leaves are dominant Afghani, while thin, serrated leaves are characteristic of the Cheese-leaning phenotypes. The 50/50 phenotype falls between the two. These unmuddled genetics produce a distinct effect from each phenotype, ranging from couch lock to a nicely balanced experience. Afghani Cheese is also an excellent breeding plant. Bloom Time: 9 weeks Stretch: 0.75–1.5x
