Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 100%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Afghani #1 IBL
The Afghan IBL that the indicas are built around are from 30 seeds that a former patient of my dispensary brought to me. He served in Afghanistan for 3 tours and suffered PTSD and back injuries and though not as tasty as some afghan i genetics Ive seen they carried a riduclous amount of resin and unique smells and flavors and really fattened up the yields
