Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Afghani Orange

This is a combination of a California Orange and Afghani. It produces some lovely, huge, aromatic buds. Easy to grow. Top resin production. These plants just jump out of their shells and go. One of our best plants for outdoors with no mold problems and excellent returns (average 10oz). The dry weight is fantastic(not a lot of shrinkage when curing). The high is very strong and will satisfy the most seasoned smokers. Flowering time: 8-9 weeks
