Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Alexander the Grape
After some searching we settled on a nice pheno of Candyland, dark purple buds, frost, and a very sweet syrupy candy smell. This was hit with pollen from our awesome Mendo Purps IBL. This strain grows short and stocky like a typical Indica with dark purple frosty buds, and grape candy odors and flavors. Genetics: Candyland X Mendo Purps IBL
