Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Alice Nicole

Alice Nicole is a cross of a fast flowering African and Congolese sativa line “Alice ” with a carefully selected Nicole Kush. This sativa dominant hybrid grows very frosty colas that smell of sweet fruit and spice. Alice Nicole’s buds have good bag appeal with some phenos displaying hues of purples, pinks and blues. Very nice trichome production too inherited from both her Sativa and kush influences. Typically this plant takes around 9 weeks in flower and is well suited to Scrog and low stress training methods. THC levels for this strain come in at 25% plus
