Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Alien Rock Candy LE
Limited edition. This other worldly bud gets its genetics from Sour Dubble and Tahoe Alien, with a boost from an elite clone called Nicole (see above). The result is a potent tasty indica dominant strain with THC levels at 20-24% and good resin production. As the name suggests its taste is candy like - think sweet but sharp lemon and lime flavours. Recommended for relaxing, it also makes a great night cap for helping you drift off to sleep. This unusual find is definitely one for the collection
