Chemotype genetics-true
Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Amnesia Fast
Amnesia Fast shortens the period to harvest by 1-2 weeks for one of the fastest Sativas on the market. It is a cross between the elite Haze clone and different Afghan strains with a shorter cycle. This results in a variety with a 65-70 day cycle indoors and ready to harvest in early October outdoors. This strain is easier to grow than the original Amnesia. It maintains resistance to fungi such as mould and pests. It does not develop abundant ramification, with production concentrated on the main branch. Growing period should be controlled so that it does not grow to an excessive height. Outdoors it can easily reach 2.5m. It offers abundant harvests both indoors and outdoors, with dense buds coated in resin and sugars thanks to the Sativa dominance. Yields of up to 550g per m2 indoors and, although we do not have exact figures for outdoors, Sativas tend to improve yields in outdoor cultivation. Amnesia Fast, keeping the original aromas and flavours
Thanks to the excellent work of Advanced Seeds, Amnesia Fast maintains the citric aromas with spicy and incense touches. For a Sativa, it has quite high THC levels of up to 18%. Advanced Seeds Amnesia Fast info:
