About this release

Amnesia Haze Feminized by Barney's Farm stands among the most legendary sativa strains in the European cannabis scene. Winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup 2004, this photoperiod variety combines exceptional landrace genetics with heavy yields and an uplifting cerebral effect profile that has cemented its reputation as a true haze classic. Genetics and background: a classic haze built on landrace foundationsAmnesia Haze was created from a blend of landrace genetics originating from Jamaica, Thailand, South Asia, and Cambodia. The original phenotype was selected by breeder Soma before eventually becoming part of the Barney’s Farm catalogue following its Cannabis Cup success. Its predominantly sativa composition (80% sativa / 20% indica) is reflected in both its energetic growth pattern and its layered terpene profile. Plants develop vigorous vertical growth with significant stretch during flowering, producing elongated lime-green buds coated in dense, sparkling resin. The structure, appearance, and overall character remain deeply rooted in traditional haze genetics. Indoor and outdoor cultivation: vigorous growth with rewarding yieldsWhen grown indoors, Amnesia Haze typically flowers within 10–12 weeks and reaches heights of around 100–140 cm. Its aggressive stretch makes it especially suitable for canopy management techniques such as LST and SCROG, helping growers maximize light penetration and optimize available space. Under favorable conditions, yields can reach up to 650 g/m². This strain is considered moderately demanding and is generally better suited to growers with some prior experience rather than complete beginners. Outdoors, Amnesia Haze thrives in warm, sunny climates where it can easily exceed 2 meters in height and produce up to 1 kg per plant. Harvest time usually falls around the third or fourth week of October. Its long, airy flowers covered in thick trichome layers and bright orange pistils are a defining feature of its old-school sativa heritage.
