Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Amsterdam Blue
Mix between Polm Gold, Purple Power and Afghan genetics. Semi-auto-flowering. Perfect for growing outdoor in the North of Europe or colder climates. A very strong and mould, disease resistant plant. A good resin production plant. Shows little variation between individual plants. A very aromatic and sweet, earthy, diesel-like flavor and taste. Our earliest flowering variety.
