Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Apricot Roses Mutant Mix

Strain Description: This Strain was selected from the same lines as our Apricot Roses SWAG, yet the parental genetics have been outliers in their generations. The Apricot Delia Ed Rosenthal F5 line had to a large degree non-serrated single leaflet plants, the breeding plant selected for Apricot Roses Mutant Mix showed variegated SWAG (non-serrated) leaves single-leaflet and fingered. The selected SWAG Ed Rosenthal F5 plant showed regular Cannabis leaves with smooth edges (non-serrated) and variegations. The cross intends further stabilise the Ed Rosenthal traits, yet widens the potential Leaf morphologies. The displayed Photos show young plants and the mature plants show plants from the same strains. Morphology & Growth: Many regular and Duckfoot Cannabis leaves will be present, of which ~20-35% will be variegated, as well as serrated and non-serrated. Some variegations include Half-albinos which are homogeneously coloured. With a very light lime-green colour, these plants look stunningly beautiful, yet they grow slower and are more sensitive to Fertilisers. Some SWAG Leaves and very rarely single Leaflet plants can be found. Aromas & Flavours: Earthy with sweet to tropical fruit,
