Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Asshat
The first bean that was given to me a number of years ago once I started growing again, was the Big Laughing. That plant was a girl I used a number of times in my early pollen-chucking. The last cross I made with it was the Asshat (Big Laughing x Gorilla Grape). Every cross I've used the Big Laughing in has come out BL domminant... with influences from the father plant - most noticeably in resin characteristics and smell. The Asshat is the first cross made with the BL that has not stuck to this tendancy... "Kong"s influence is greater with this cross - improvement on the BL - Flowering Time: 9 - 10 weeks
