When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Astrolite
The Sour Diesel mother was obtained 5+ years ago and has been floating around Michigan for quite some time now. She is a 68-75 day Diesel with a pure gasoline and sour flavor. She's a tall, quickly growing and very vigorous Sativa and the father is a stout, 55 day finishing heavily resinous and iced out beefcake of a hybrid specimen. 8-10 weeks flowering time expected depending on phenotypes. This cross should result in hybrid vigor, as well as possibly shortening her flowering time a bit while applying his resin/frost content and adding a complex creamy cherry rootbeer and fresh wood profile to the mix! Expected to yield well also, as both parents are solid producers!
