Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Asylum
Asylum genetics: Cereal Milk x Gary Payton, an explosive cross Asylum is the outcome of the union between Cereal Milk and Gary Payton, two varieties with a strong reputation in the North American cannabis scene. The result is a modern hybrid with remarkable terpene richness and a potent cannabinoid profile, ideal for those seeking a balanced and flavoursome effect.
Asylum cultivation: Hybrid vigour and trichome abundance Asylum’s structure is robust and vigorous, producing dense and compact buds covered in a thick layer of resin. Its dark colouring ranges from deep green to violet, especially when cultivated in cooler temperatures at the end of flowering. It responds very well to techniques such as SCROG or apical pruning. Its high resin production makes it excellent for extractions.
Asylum flavours and effects: Creamy sweetness with spicy and fizzy notes Asylum’s terpene profile is rich and enveloping, with a sweet, creamy, sugary milk-like base, complemented by notes of diesel, hazelnut, and spice. The experience begins with a euphoric and uplifting hig
