Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Banana Wine
Banana Wine is a crossing of Purple Drank Breath by Thugpug Genetics and Banana OG F3 by Zoolander seeds. The mother cut used for this cross is a very colorful gal that smells like pungent grapey foul wine. Paired with Banana OG F3, Banana Wine has been found to have green phenos as well as absolutely colorful phenos like the mama cut. All phenos that we've seen seem to carry varying grape terps, from the foul wine to brighter grape seltzer. The Banana father offers sturdier and bushier frames with more bud sites, tons of vigor, and an injection of OG fuel to most crosses. Banana Wine is one cross that has not seen significant increases to yield by the papa, though the flower replicates the Purple Drank Breath very well
