Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Banangie
Very easy to grow, tolerates all mediums and nutrient levels, and tends to ripen quickly
The phenotypes have very similar terpenes and can only be distinguished by their growth behavior and trichome production; there are 2 clearly banana-dominant phenos and one that's gassy; the Tangie adds a fruity twist, providing sweet, sour, and fruit cocktail notes
