Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

Bandaid Haze 3.0 x Heart of Darkness Curry Spice Musty Old Books in the Attic Truly Unique Manageable Haze for Indoor Flowering Bandaid Haze ix 3.0 is bred by Doc D. The lineage is Bandaid Haze #7 x (A5 Haze/Thai bx). Bandaid Haze #7 is Doc D’s selection of Bohdi’s Cuban Black Haze x (A5 Haze x Thai). A5 Haze Thai is 'spoke' to come from Europe. Bodhi acquired the A5 Haze/Thai beans from Europe, and crossed it to the American clone “Cuban Black Haze” AKA Miami Haze, Black Haze, etc. Heart of Darkness Male: Back in 2018, I did a F2 IBL line with the original Heart of Darkness seeds. My favorite female of the IBL, the #5, had a faster finishing time and had more expressions of the Narrow Leaf Afghani then all the others. From these F2, I did an open pollination with two males and 4 females - 2/4 females expressed the true Narrow Leaf Afghani Trait which is what I was most interested. From germination to harvest, this project took 180+ Days to complete and though it is full on highly experimental, I believe there is some excellent specimens to be found - both for flowering and breeding purposes.
