Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About BaOx
The BaOx(TM) is a new high-CBD seed that combines an inbred Hindu Kush line and the Otto male used to create the Otto II hybrid seed. The BaOx is fast growing, vigorous, uniform in height and breeds true for the high-CBD chemotype. Very high CBD:THC ratios have been measured in the test plots. I am releasing a small amount of seed, just 100 packs of 14 seeds each. The cost is $100. There has been a great deal of interest in this seed so expect it to go fast
