Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Bazooka Cheese

The Bazooka Cheese is the head of the Quantamon Seeds collection obtained from the cross-breeding of a classic Skunk and a White Cheese. This strain is designed to meet the needs of the most passionate collectors. The female specimens that derive from this seed are very impressive and can have different characteristics depending on the environment in which the seed resides. Resistant to different climatic temperatures, the Bazooka Cheese generates an intense acrid, sometimes pungent smell, similar to the smell of seasoned cheese. Some of you may find it unpleasant, but if you don’t, then it is able to maintain a flowering phase of over 10 weeks without requiring the attention of expert growers. These characteristics combined with the results of the breeders have led to the inclusion of this important strain within the Quantamon Seeds collection
