Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About BC Widow

This Widow has a considerate THC content, but absolute connoisseur quality. It offers a strong Indica stoned effect and an ever-present Sativa head-high. Buds have a very soft smoke. Flowering time is shorter with my BC widow and will flower in less then 8 weeks. Does very well indoors. Stable BC Widow (Dutch Passion White Widow). THC: 20-25%
