Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Bhushana

This hybrid gives a fruity, soft and sweet smoke. THC content is high, and the effect wacky. The variety can cause a return of 450-500 g/m2. Flowering time is 10 weeks. Shoots of the variety are very large, but not so compact, they are slightly more sativa-like. Don't give this variety too much fertilizer. Genetic: (Somango Haze x Citral) x (Toendramist x New York City Diesel) Toendra Mist = Ruderalis Indica x Velebit. Velebit is a wild crossing from seeds bought in Amsterdam and grown wild in the Velebit area in Croatia. Probably strains like White Widow, Skunk, Snow White aso
