Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Black Cream

Black Cream is a vigorous hybrid combining the resin production of Oreoz with the coloration and density of Black Do-lato. Plants display a moderate stretch during flowering (around 2x) and develop a naturally clean structure with very little unnecessary foliage. Flowers form along well-spaced branches and mature into dense, resin-covered buds with excellent calyx-to-leaf ratio, making trimming straightforward. The aroma leans heavily Creamy, some undertones of blueberry yogurt, supported by a smooth sugary finish when she is growing. And when she’s cured, the Creamy side melts with a slice of ammonia. Delicious! The high is strong and uplifting. You can expect heart beats and anguish. Flowering time: 8–9 weeks Stretch: Moderate (~2x, some pheno ~3x) Feeding: Moderate but consistent throughout the first half of flowering. Performs best with regular feeding rather than heavy applications. Structure: Clean, easy-to-manage architecture with minimal unnecessary leaf and stem growth. Highlights: Dense flowers, strong resin production, attractive coloration and dessert-oriented terpene profiles
