Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The mother for this cross was a really special dark Cookie pheno of DO SI DOS #18 bred by Archive Seeds and the reversal used was Gelato from Seed Junky Genetics Our Black Ice Cream is only available in 3 Seed packs and currently exclusive to South Africa only
