Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). 'Black Oak' is a cross of a select female from our 'Ghosts of the Redwoods' line with males from Freeborn Selection's 'BlackDog bc5 x Gelato33CherryLimeAid' males. 'Black Oak' seed make medium height, perfect structured plants with rock hard dense flower clusters. Most female flowers are solid as a rock. Excellent calyx to leaf ratio, very easy to trim. Darn near bulletproof. I have found and used males from this line to further our breeding projects at Mountain Top Seeds
