Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). A truly unique plant from a line I am continuing to work. First I open pollenated the Baluchistan while putting my favorite blackberry Diesel backcross in as well. During the f1 I pheno hunted a few keepers and created an f2 as well as backcrossed to the original blackberry Diesel bx cut. All have been phenomenal creations
