Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Blue Sunshine
Blue Sunshine is the indica-sativa strain created by crossing Blue Dream and Sunshine Daydream, the latter being Bodhi Seeds' cross of Appalachia and Bubbashine. It is a strain suitable for cultivation indoors and also outdoors where it will reach over 200 cm. in height. Indoor flowering times are between 7 - 12 weeks depending on phenotype, with yields in the region of 500 gr/m2. Flavours of vanilla ice cream with THC levels of 21% and 0% CBD. The effect is said to be great for increasing appetite, not so great if you're trying to lose weight though! Therapeutically also good for headaches. THC CONTENT 21%
