Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Blue Thunder
Blending the proven Blueberry and the famous Matanuska Tundra turned out to be one of our most flavourful hybrids. This combination produces flowers containing the flavour and aroma of Blueberry with a slightly larger cola-diameter. Some individuals will lean toward the respective parents, so the farmer can choose specimens with personally desired characteristics, making her an excellent hybrid. The blueberry taste is unmistakeable to the tongue and expanding in the lungs. Nugs vary from deep green to dark turquoise in color, side leaves can be left on the buds or saved for hash making. The high seems to last slightly longer with pleasant peaks.
