Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

The Zsunami male in this project was hunted from three packs of Seeds. A total of 8 males were cloned and taken to flower. The selected male exhibited the most resin I have seen in person and had amazing lateral branching runners and dense clusters. The resin glads had this fluffy fresh spin cotton candy smell with a real unique gas on the back end - reminded me of pink marshmallow 'Peeps' candy
