Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About BlueJ
A cross of Jilly Bean (TGA) x Oregon Blues (Homegrown Natural Wonders) The Oregon Blues brings blueberry terpine profiles from the IBL Jamaican Blueberry father into almost every cross we do. The candy sweetness of the Jillybean brought a unique candied profile to the doughy blueberry that was present in the Oregon Blues. Leaving us with a strain that consistently smells like blueberry pancakes with a side of orange juice. A room of it smells like breakfast
