Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Some of the names are Master OG, Diamond OG, Pure Kush, Lemon O.G., Royal OG and the list goes on. Overall it’s the Original. We crossed it with our firey potent Lou dawg Male resulting in an OG that represents the finest of Long Beach’s intensity, style and flavor.
