Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Brian Berry Black Currant
Smell- Like a fine aged wine. Earthy, and like an over ripened sweet grape. Flavor- Like a fine aged wine. Earthy, and like an over ripened sweet grape. Appearance- Large bulky grenade-like buds. Medium in height. Large yield. 60% of the phenos have pink colored resin. Effects- Indica effects. Very creative. Great for pain and increasing appetite. Brian Berry was named to honor my friend, Brian Damewood, who lost his battle with ALS. He was able to smoke the first harvest from his tribute strain two days before he passed.
