Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Brian Berry Citrus

Smell- Very strong orange candy or orange peel flavor. Flavor- Very strong orange candy or orange peel flavor. Appearance- Shorter plant with a medium to large yield, carrying very solid resinous buds, and a low leaf to bud ratio. Effects- Great morning and daytime smoke. Very uplifting like a cup of coffee but also relaxing and calming. It does not cause munchies. Brian Berry was named to honor my friend, Brian Damewood, who lost his battle with ALS. He was able to smoke the first harvest from his tribute strain two days before he passed. We hope to bring awareness to Lou Gehrig Disease (ALS) with the unique name of this strain
